WHAT IS SPLITSVILLE?

Splitsville is an area on BOGOFOOD.com to view the requests of other shoppers for split-case quantities. Bargains are to be had here, since you can get wholesale prices without having to purchase the whole case. Check out Splitsville to:

  • shop for bargains
  • see what cases your item request could complete, thus making the whole case available for immediate delivery.

WHAT IS SPLITPICKING?

Splitpicking lets you purchase grocery items at wholesale case discount prices without requiring you to purchase the entire case. The "SPLITPICK FROM THIS CASE" box is displayed at the bottom of the product page for eligible products -- displayed are the number of items in a full case ("CASE COUNT") and the number of items ("SPLITS") that remain to be purchased (by you or other shoppers) before the entire case has been filled.

To order, simply enter the number of Splits you wish to purchase on the product page for each item. A graphic shows how many SPLITS in that case have been requested (or SPLITPICKED) by others. Or, take a cruise to Splitsville to browse all Splitpicked cases.

Then let us know for how many weeks you would be willing to wait for your Splitpick items. You can change the expiry date before checkout by going to your shopping cart.

While you are doing other things, on and off the site, other shoppers will be Splitpicking items from the same case(s) you've already chosen. When a BOGOFOOD shopper purchases the last remaining Split to complete a case from which you've ordered, you'll be notified by email.

HOW DO I CHECK MY SPLITPICK STATUS?

Click on My Splitpicks at the top of any page to see a list of your pending splitpicks. Each item lists a status with Splits remaining to fill each case and the Splitpick expiration date. You may cancel or modify your Splitpick request at any point before the Splitpick is filled.

Splitpick requests will not be charged to your account until the request is fulfilled.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SPLITPICKS;

Your Splitpicks are not viewable by others in Splitsville until you CHECK OUT. This ensures that each Splitpick you view in Splitsville has been committed to by one or more customers.

WHAT IS THE BILLING POLICY?

Even though your Splitpicks are displayed in your shopping cart, your credit card is not billed unless or until your Splitpick request is filled. Remember, orders are due by 11AM on Wednesday for Friday delivery.

If you have not placed an order within a week that a Splitpick is filled, the item(s) will be held at our warehouse until you place an order. You will be charged for the held Splitpick at the end of the week in which the Splitpick is filled.
